The Department of Computer Science was established in 1995. It became a Post-Graduate department in the year 2010. Currently the department offers Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate courses in Computer Science. Many of our students were placed in various IT companies such as Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, and Oracle etc.., and some others are worked as teaching faculties in reputed institutions across the world.
The Department of Computer Science launched a YouTube Channel TechTube MTCST and streaming variety of programs through it including a news channel TechTube News. This covers news from various sections of the Institution. It is broadcasted once every month. Department provides an Add-on course Basics of Microsoft Office to the students of all departments in our college. There are 11 faculty members in the Department. Ms. Shanu Thomas, Associate Professor is the present Head of the Department.
